Responsible Adventure
The overarching objective of the project is to promote North Wales as a leader in sustainable tourism. It aims to attract additional visitors in a way which is environmentally sustainable and considerate to local communities by maximising the social, economic and cultural benefits to the region. This is a multi-element project that forms part of a sustainable and eco-tourism package to develop a new sustainable cable car, slate explorer, eBus network and giant swing.
The project will provide employment opportunities throughout the Adventure Tourism and allied sectors within North Wales. The Welsh language, culture, and heritage will be promoted by offering an insight to the cultural heritage along the route of an eBus and providing historical context on the slate landscape in North Wales. The project will prioritise environmental sustainability with a decarbonisation strategy which will provide a sustainable alternatives for tourists wishing to visits to North Wales.
Ambition North Wales is working with lead sponsor, Zip World Ltd to develop this project.

The Full Business Case is presented to the North Wales Economic Ambition Board for approval. When approved the implementation phase of the project can begin.

My Role:
- Deliver the Agri-food and Tourism Programme and the Innovation in High Value Manufacturing Programme
- Engage with stakeholders to maximise the value of these Programmes
- Support the delivery of Growth Deal projects so that expected benefits are realised
