New Agri-Food Tech Launchpad funding opens

Ambition North Wales is calling on Agri-Tech & Food Innovators across the region to investigate their eligibility for a new round of funding.

Micro, small or medium-sized enterprises can now apply for grants of between £25,000-£100,000 to drive innovation and make a lasting impact in North and MidWales.

Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is working with Ambition North Wales, Growing Mid Wales and Welsh Government to invest up to £1.5 million in innovation projects.

This funding is from Innovate UK’s Launchpad programme which supports the UK government’s goals for local economic growth.

The aim of the competition, which closes at 11:00am on Wednesday 11 December, is to support outstanding innovation projects led by businesses. Those applying must use the funding to grow their innovation activities in the agri-tech and food technology cluster in North and Mid Wales, both during and after their projects.
