Connected Campuses

Overview:

The connectivity options for industry have grown rapidly over the last decade. Ensuring that the region’s businesses have access to a choice is important to sustain economic activity and enable new areas of the economy.

Connected Campuses consists of two sub-projects, Advanced Wireless and LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network), both supporting the deployment and use of advanced wireless technologies across the region.

The Advanced Wireless project will support private and public sector organisations adopt the latest wireless technologies to support improved service delivery, business efficiencies, innovation and growth, particularly through the use of internet of things applications.

Determine the Project context:

The planning phase of the spending proposal. Assessing the strategic context for the project and demonstrating how it provides synergy with other projects within the portfolio.

LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network)

This project aims to deliver extensive and accessible LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) network coverage throughout the region, providing businesses and public sector users with a cost effective solution for adopting internet of things applications and supporting innovation.
