Overview:

The project will deliver a new Rock Mineral Wool insulation manufacturing facility in Shotton, North Wales. The factory, targeting an annual capacity in excess of 100,000 tonnes, will utilise cutting-edge Submerged Arc Furnace melting technology to deliver industry-leading sustainable Rock Mineral Wool production primarily for the UK and Irish markets. These products will be used to improve the energy efficiency and safety of both new and existing buildings.

Approval of the Outline Business Case:

The Outline Business Case is presented to the Economic Well-being Sub-Committee for approval. When approved the procurement phase of the project can begin.

Preparing the Full Business Case:

The procurement phase of the project. Recording the findings of the procurement and confirming the management arrangements for the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the project.
