Project:

Freeport Gateway Site, Anglesey

Overview:

The wider project will acquire, demolish, decontaminate, create development plots and provide access and mains services to the former Peboc/Eastman Chemical Works on the Parc Bryn Cefni Industrial Estate. In addition, five light industrial units on Plot 2 of Tregarnedd Industrial Park and bring forward level Plot 3 for sale to the private sector for future development.

The public investment to deliver the above will leverage up to £11.3m of private funding to re-develop the former Peboc site and Plot 3 delivering up to 6,700m² of business space and capable of accommodating up to 223 jobs.

The Parc Bryn Cefni Industrial Estate is also part of the Angelsey Freeport Central Tax Site which provides developers and firms tax incentives to invest, expand their businesses and create employment.
