About the Forum

The North Wales Digital Connectivity Forum was launched in December 2025, marking an important milestone in efforts to improve connectivity and support the region’s digital transformation. Its goal is to make North Wales a more attractive destination for digital investment.

The Forum brings together local authorities, Eryri National Park, the UK and Welsh Governments, emergency services, transport operators, and the telecommunications industry, including mobile network operators, neutral host operators, and tower companies, to help shape the future of mobile and broadband infrastructure across North Wales. It aims to remove barriers to investment, streamline planning processes, and simplify engagement with industry, maximising the impact of both public and private sector funding.

The North Wales Digital Connectivity Forum is chaired by Alwen Williams, Chief Executive of Ambition North Wales, and is held quarterly.
